Simple, Delicious Candied Nuts for Holiday Party Hosting

Can you believe Thanksgiving is a WEEK from today? It really, really snuck up on me this year and while next week will be dedicated to baking, prepping, cooking and spending time with family, I tested this candied nut recipe this morning and it was so easy and delicious. Follow the simple instructions below!

+ 2 cups nuts (pecans & walnuts)
+ 1/8 teaspoon salt
+ Pinch of cayenne pepper
+ 1/4 cup real maple syrup
+ 4 sage leaves, chopped finely (I swapped this out for fresh springs of thyme)

+ Preheat oven to 350.
+ Toast nuts on lined baking sheet for about 15 minutes.
+ While nuts are toast, toss all other ingredients together in a bowl.
+ Carefully pour hot nuts into bowl and mix.
+ Place back on baking sheet & bake for another 7 minutes.
