Celebrating Differences in Friendship, Life & Style

June 21, 2018

Aside from a couple of childhood gems, it wasn’t until my early twenties that I started to truly form deep and meaningful friendships with a handful of women. Call me crazy, but Zack and I always ran in the same circle (mostly guys) and it just worked for me throughout high school and college. That being said, as time has passed, I have learned just how valuable it can be to have a few close female friends by your side.

Five Affordable Date Ideas You Should Try This Summer in NYC

May 31, 2018

After over three years of calling NYC home, it dawned on me that I had never actually been to the Brooklyn Bridge. Ridiculous! Since coming to this realization I made it clear that this was completely unacceptable and put a visit immediately at the top of my New York bucket list. Zack made plans for us to walk across it on Mother’s Day but we got rained out, so I somehow convinced him (and Amy) to wake up and catch the sunrise here instead last week.

My Brother & I Designed a Shirt with Future People for Kiddos!

May 23, 2018

Beyond excited to share this super fun t-shirt design collaboration between myself, my brother, Anthony and Future People. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Future People, let me back up a bit. Matt and Steve, the owners of the brand, have created the most adorable children’s clothing company that not only fosters a space where education is cool, but they educate parents about foundational experiences that have a long-lasting impact on their child’s future and help to feed and educate refugee children.

5 Ways We’re Prioritizing Our Marriage This Spring

April 3, 2018

If I’m being totally honest Zack and I have had a difficult time prioritizing our marriage since the high of moving back home has worn off. Our schedules are tight and between caring for Owen, balancing work, Zack’s stand up comedy, friends, and alone time it’s been difficult to wedge time in for our marriage. As someone who’s love language is quality time this can be incredibly challenging and this past weekend it all came to a head. Having this realization was definitely hard, but I’m grateful, because it forced us to sit down and make some changes.

Winter Capsule Wardrobe + A Last Minute Holiday Wish List

December 12, 2017

Traveling this summer not only required that we slimmed down our wardrobes dramatically, but based on the places we visited, we were always chasing summer and always wearing warm weather clothing. Meaning we’re starting completely from scratch with winter gear (exciting but scary).
