Ten Things for the Third Weekend of June

June 16, 2017

1. This week’s mantra: “There’s no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one.” – Jill Churchill

2. Loved this TED Talk about defining your fears instead of your goals.

3. Can’t stop listening to this song.

4. This podcast episode made me think. We ended up picking up On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century last week and I can’t wait to read it.

5. This makes me laugh. Every time. If you haven’t watched the second season of Master of None stop what you’re doing and get ready to Netflix binge. Calling it now, Zack and I are going to be big bud and little bud for Halloween.

6. So happy I found @arrowsandbow on Instagram. I love seeing how other families are living their lives and raising their tiny humans!

7. Started reading The 4-Hour Workweek and I’m hooked.

8. This recipe looked so good I apparently pinned it twice. Thinking I should probably make it.

9. Loved seeing LaTonya’s home on Domino this week. We struggled to make a one bedroom feel just right for our family of three in Brooklyn and she’s made it work beautifully for her family of four.

10. This is our next stop on our travels. Loving Berlin, but holy shit, I can’t wait for Croatia.
