Ten Things for the Weekend

December 1, 2017

1. This week’s mantra: “Together we will cry and face fear and grief. I will want to take away your pain, but instead I will sit with you and teach you how to feel it.” – Brene Brown, The Wholehearted Parenting Manifesto

2. Two podcast episodes I really loved this week: Elizabeth Gilbert on Super Soul Conversations + an episode of The Goal Digger Podcast about how you can be a social media influencer.

3. Did you guys do any Black Friday shopping last week? We definitely used it as a chance to stock up on our winter essentials and I think I found the perfect coat. Waiting for it to arrive!

4. Started an elimination diet this week and I’m feeling so great. I share a post on Instagram and there were some great recipe ideas, but I’d love to hear more!

5. Shared this video in my stories this week, but it’s too good not to share again. Check it out – A Drink with James Episode 77 – The 50k Threshold, Money vs. Exposure, Over Engagement.

6. Gearing up to host another big giveaway next week with some of my favorite fashion brands! Make sure to keep an eye on my Instagram account.

7. Did you catch Natalie Bowen Brookshire on Mother Mag this week? I was initially drawn in by the advice she would give someone who has a friend dealing with infertility.

8. We’re officially starting to pick out furniture for our new apartment. Shit is getting real you guys! Just over a month before we are home. Can’t wait. See some of my home inspiration here.

9. My copy of Nurture just arrived and I can’t wait to start it. Has anyone else picked up Erica Chidi Cohen’s book?!

10. Bloom Handmade just launched their limited edition womenswear and it’s SO BEAUTIFUL.
